Jesús Barquín: Very pale pink, almost orange. Soft nose, with some volume and ripeness, and a hint ofgreenness that adds interest. On the palate I enjoythe difficult balance of seemingly opposed flavors(candied fruit and a green note) over the sweetishcharacter. As with other wines, I would havepreferred it to be bone-dry. 85
Andrew Jefford: An onionskin-orange rosé. Full, plush, ratherliqueur-like aromas: attractive but exotic, deckedin rich raisin-and-tea-leaf sweetness, withsomething rooty or earthy at the end. Verysimilar on the palate—very hard to see howthis can be extra-brut or brut nature! It seemslike a dessert Cava, lush and brocaded but finallya little torpid. 82
Andreas Larsson: The color is somewhat orange and copper, with a fine mousse. The nose is sweet and offersjammy berries, quince, windfall, and nougat—farfrom your average apéritif Cava, for sure. Thepalate is lush, sweet, and broad, with a creamytexture, offering strawberry jam with vanillaflavor. A lot of flesh and perfume, but the dryness, freshness, and finish are lacking. 79
