Andrew Jefford: Dark black-red. Fresh, warm, tapered, cleanly defined blackcurrant. Beautiful classic blackcurrant fruit on the palate, too: a river of fruited charm, teased to perfect ripeness and untroubled by excessive cellar ambitions. Delicious 2012—for the mid-term. 2017–23. 90
Michael Schuster: Still very tight and closed to smell; elegantly balanced, moderately rich, mediumfull claret, finely firm in tannin; plenty of cedary, blackcurrant-sweet flavor here, nicely sustained across the palate, savory, satisfying, and long to finish. Firm, classy St-Julien. 2021–35+. 91
