Andrew Jefford: Saturated dark black-red. Earthy, rich, relatively evolved already: lush, smoky, and coffeeish. On the palate, this is very ambitious, truffled, and troweled, concentrated and deep. The attentions are so close that it perhaps lacks a little zest and lift and life, not to mention the diagnostic freshness of 2012, but it is still a serious and satisfying wine that I would greatly enjoy sitting down to dinner with. Fantastic depth and textures, here. 2018–24. 91
