Nicolas Belfrage: Medium-deep, garnet rim. Okay nose but a bit dilute in the mouth; falls mid-palate. Okay finish; acceptable but nothing more. 13

Simon Larkin: Deep garnet with good depth. The aromas are not forthcoming, though the palate reveals a vibrant, almost feminine character, with ripe red fruits, and almost powdery soft tannins. Nothing harsh or obtrusive; graceful and elegant, if lacking a little stature. There is an appealing note and some substance, though it is a little difficult to see where this may be going from here. Correct, if a little dull. Good finish. 11

Franco Ziliani: Dark, inky, concentrated color. The nose is rich, complex, very fresh, and full of energy, with herbal aromatic notes, rhubarb, truffles, and dried mushrooms. A solid structure, with firm tannins well harmonized with a fleshy, vibrant fruit. Good balance and persistence, with salty, mineral notes. 16
