Nicolas Belfrage: Medium-deep, turning. Some H2S on the nose. Plenty of sweet fruit on the palate but compromised by sulfur. Firm acid and slightly drying tannins, a little mineral/metallic, maybe a touch coarse, but with underlying quality. 12.5.

Simon Larkin: Deep hue. The aromas are sweaty, leathery, and unpleasant. The palate is flat, with some loose, confected fruit and little more. Astringent, grippy, and dismal. 8

Franco Ziliani: Dark ruby color. The nose presents the rustic side of the old-school style: reduced and animal (Bretty?) notes, foxy, leathery, almost meaty, and with no elegance at all. Cutting acidity; hard, green tannins; no balance, no pleasure. 10
