Tim Atkin: Mid ruby/purple. Some development at the rim. Sawdust/kirsch nose. Tannins quite dry, but I like the silkiness of the fruit here. Attractive mid-palate sweetness and length. Drinking well, but should age 2–5 years. 14

Alex Hunt: Excellent nose that shows cedary-mineral complexity and a slight herbal lift alongside the blackberry fruit. Real depth here. There’s a nod to Bordeaux in terms of structure and use of oak, which are grippy and savory respectively, though the Argentinian warmth comes through as well. Interesting, characterful wine. 15

Anthony Rose: Medium ruby red, still youthful in appearance. Attractive, fresh mulberry and cherry fragrance. Nicely proportioned, approachable style, albeit not hugely rich or concentrated. Good, juicy acidity, supple tannins, and balance make this a very drinkable style. 15
