Tim Atkin: Mid ruby/purple. Minty, ripe, older oak. Complex palate, nice acidity. Showing good bottle development and complexity. Refreshing finish. More Italianate than Argentinian. Unusual. Interesting. 17

Alex Hunt: At first a little bit eggy, but then quite an agreeable, if unexpected, aroma of smoked cheese and cooked plums. On the palate, though, the smokiness dominates, alongside angular tannins and a lack of plump fruit to counterbalance it. Out of kilter, unfortunately. 10 .5

Anthony Rose: Rich, red ruby, with garnet evolved tinges. Nice, fresh, vivid spicy aromas; good dark-red-fruit quality with concentration, richness, supple tannins, and fresh acidity that, combined, make this a very attractive liquid dark-cherry and spice-driven red of some distinction. 16.5
