Jesús Barquín: Pale gold. Aromas of ripe fruit and white flowers; fresh palate on the attack but leading to a spicy warm finish that detracts. 85

Andrew Jefford: Very pale white-gold still. Softly creamy and leesy; a touch of green malt. Lively, modern, restrained white Rioja with a planty, almost leafy style and some juicy green acids. It’s not exactly the white Rioja I dream about, but I have to admit that the style works well. 84

Richard Mayson: Mid-straw in hue; that smoky, slightly resinous aroma of traditional oak-aged white Rioja, just hinting at rancio in a rather attractive way; full-flavored, creamy, vanilla-dominated fruit with real character on the palate, then savory depth on the finish, though retaining its freshness and verve. 89
