Jesús Barquín: Very pale. Spicy and citrusy on the nose, perhaps seeming a little too spicy, as is verified by the palate and the finish, which both come across as being very oak-driven, with greenish oak notes. 80

Andrew Jefford: Pale gold in color. Rather sawdusty on the nose; the barrel strides out first. On the palate, by contrast, the oak works rather better, lending what is neutral fruit a little fullness and identity. Within the context of its peers, this is exuberant, has concentration, and offers sound drinking pleasure. 85

Richard Mayson: Slightly deeper in color than most of its peers; attractive toast and apple aromas suggesting well-integrated oak; toasty flavors, too, but with zesty fruit underneath. There is some character here at last; a little disjointed on the finish perhaps, but at least there is something to say. 85
