Andrew Jefford: Pale to mid-gold. Planty and green-bean scents, with subtle grassiness behind. The varieties seem happy here. Fresh, vivid, lively white wine with roundness and balance. It sails under a green flag, but all the vegetal notes are very subtly and carefully drawn, and you wouldn’t necessarily tire of them after the first glass. Not quite complex enough to be a fine wine, though. 85

Andreas Larsson: Very grassy and floral nose, with hints of kiwi, gooseberry, and classic Sauvignon notes. Medium weight on the palate, with some hints of grape-skin/phenolic compounds, perhaps skin maceration; rather herbal and spicy palate, with a classically fresh and zesty finish of moderate length. 83

Jancis Robinson: Very bright pale lemon/straw. Powerful, green leafy notes, with a bit of sweet fruit to compensate. I admire the Semillon character evident here, which brings some tension, but it’s not fully settled down yet. Still quite astringent and raw. Good to taste a Sauvignon Blanc made for the long term! Not yet ready. Drink 2016–19. 88 +
