Andrew Jefford: A late arrival but tasted blind. Pale old gold in color. Very gently vegetal in style. No notable freshness or greenness, though—this is more yellow vegetables, or squashes. On the palate, it is full, open, rather intense, mellow and secondary, with a relaxed, chewy style. Is it an older wine? (I am not sure of the vintage as I taste.) Some might fault this uncrispness, but it seems to me to be a valid food style. Nonetheless, overall this is rather a placid, uneventful wine which really needs drinking up now. 83

Andreas Larsson: Fresh herbs, lemon zest, and gooseberry, with a gentle spiciness. The nose is rather Sauvignon-like, but there’s a bit more weight on the palate, with a rounded texture, good freshness, some notes of fresh almond, still youthful and restrained, but good purity and rather persistent finish; should develop well. 85
