Andrew Jefford: Pale gold. Grassy, clean, and fresh, with some plant sap and snapped broad-bean pod. Very Sauvignon-stamped, and a prompt pick or a very cool place. Green and linear on the palate; very clean; very correct. Delivers on the varietal and location promise, but I don’t find much charm here, and there’s little to make me want to drain the glass and follow through with another one. Just too rigid, in the end. 80
Andreas Larsson: A youthful and fresh nose, Sauvignondriven, with herbs, lime zest, gooseberry, and kiwi. Quite restrained on the palate, with moderate ripeness and youthful fruit, more like green apple and pear, with some herbal notes; a good sense of freshness, but the acidity per se doesn’t feel really high; a bit young and tight on the finish, with a medium-to-long aftertaste. Definitely more Sauvignon than Semillon, tastewise. 84
Jancis Robinson: Mid-straw with green highlights. Strong green nettle Sauvignon Blanc and underripe Semillon aromas. Nothing sweet about this— indeed, there’s a hint of something metallic on the nose. This is in the fruit-and-veg spectrum of flavors, with a little sharpness and astringency on the finish. Mouth-filling and broad on the palate, it finishes dry and substantial. Quite ambitious. Drink 2014–16. 88
