Chateau Cantenac Brown Margaux Bordeaux France 2019 (13.5% ABV) — 93
SF | Dense near opaque, then a forward generous aromatic; red and blue fruit, soft spice and a whisper fo graphite; very complete, very seductive. The palate continues the theme, warm and generous, and yet resourceful and refreshing, zesty and energetic. A fine, elegant finish. the aromatic persistently strong down the line, the allure incapable of recession. A very impressive Cantenac Brown 94
MS | Fairly closed, freshly ripe fruited, gently oak vanilla marked to smell; medium full, fresh to lively in acidity, finely firm in tannin; crisply ripe fruited in flavour, gently fleshy, with an attractive length and succulence, and good length to finish too. A fine, complete, classy Cantenac Brown. Like so many in Margaux this year, accessible early, but no problem keeping either. Drink Dates: 2027 - 2040+. 92
