AK | This straw-colored wine is fresh and neutral on the nose, in such a way that does not at all suggest skin-contact. The palate has a lovely umami note of meat, but remains rather neutral, if slightly salty, throughout. Would anyone actually notice that there was skin contact? Yes, there is more texture, but apart from that, not so much difference to conventional white Rioja. 88
FP | Light-straw color. A rich white with some skin contact, rather than any full sense of maceration. White flowers and citrus oils on the nose, and a lovely sense of grippy astringency from the acidity; tannin is not really the point here. Nice follow-through on the finish. 91
DW | White-wine color and a bright appearance. A very primary character, with no discernible skin-contact notes. So, take a moment to recalibrate... and it's fine, totally fine, a commercial white with just a touch of Verdejo-ish bitterness and fresh peachy fruit. 85
