AK | A lovely golden color does not merge into a revealing nose. All is shy here, apart from a few flinty flickers of reduction. The palate has balance, structure, and much citric verve, combining lemon brightness with tangerine aromatics. The body is bright and light and totally mouthwatering, with a lovely tannic frame that only helps the freshness to shine brighter. A sleek and most appetizing, elegant wine. 91
FP | Amber color. The acid and tannin here interact in a way to make the wine somewhat unforgiving: there is a hardness to the structure that renders it impenetrable and unfriendly. Some biological character on the finish. 80
DW | Amber-gold; a touch cloudy. A wee bit funky on the nose; quite extracted and challenging on the palate; the acidity is wild, the tannins a little forced and wince-inducing. 85
