SF | Bright ruby-purple, with a generous, lifted aromatic, red berries, hedgerow, and clove. The palate tapers deftly, the powdery tannins enrobing the fruit, with a lifted, poised finish, austerity and generosity beguilingly entwined. 88
AR | Showing youthful primary color and aroma, there is a light herbal tinge to the blackcurrant fruit, which is almost too primary still to show quite where its potential lies; it's fresh enough, thanks to a firm spine of refreshing acidity and dry tannin, and there is some nicely ripe, albeit medium-bodied, blackcurrant fruit, whose evident structure is elegantly done, thanks to good winemaking in which the oak sits nicely in the background; a good wine that's approachable now. 90
DW | Classic, mint-infused Maipo Cabernet notes that stops just short of surmaturité; jam and compote and some Chilean blackcurrant pastille ripeness; supple tannins and a savory dimension to the blackcurrant finish. 90
