SF | Deeper straw than some of its peers; a lively mousse thereafter. A nose of the haywain and green apples, brioche and a hint of nectarine. Precocious. Hints of tangerine and spice rejoin the palate, providing an elegant balustrade to what might otherwise be a fairly lean structure. Austere on the finish. Interesting, for all that! 89
EA | Deep colored with golden hues. Spice-laden nose, with a sun-kissed fruit profile: baked apple, peach compote, and charred wood. Rather primary for the time being, still with yeasty tones. A broad and fleshy, mouthfilling palate, with an appealing airiness to the cushiony mousse. The finish is equally fruity and lush, ending on a dry bite of freshness. 2023–30. 92
TH | Roasted plum, baking spices, and dried apple here—a broad and open stance. This embraces the generosity of the year with a pleasing chewiness, some oxygen influence and integrated bitterness, softening the impact with some mid-palate creaminess. Ready to drink. 2023–28. 89
