AJ | Deep, dense black-red. Warm, refined and classy, with an ease and sweet, exotic refinement which takes the drinker aback in a year (like 2019) when all is curranty purity. It's built on a core of pure fruit for all that. Ample, round and structured, with firm tannins and a savoury back-stop; chunky yet well-defined Pauillac for the medium term. MS | Discreet to smell, subtly gravelly, an immediate impression of finesse, a hint of new wood; medium full, fresh in acidity, finely tannic; restrained, elegant, fine textured Pauillac, freshly, vitally ripe to taste, long and close grained and refined, aromatic, gently racy and discreet, with a lovely, almost delicate aromatic persistence.
