SF | A little lighter than some of its peers ( only a little!) with a gentle strawberry rim. Aromatics are also dominated by red fruits, crushed raspberry and soft cherry amongst them. A pleasing lifted style, which does not lack for matiere or structural solidity; a pleasing line of acidity refreshes and supports, invigorates and renews. Long and allusive. 92
MS | Black cherry sweet and lightly oaky to smell; fairly full, fresh, moderately tannic; there is a pure, sweet, transparent fruit at the heart of this wine which is, currently anyway, rather dominated by its dry oak tannin; but underlying this are finesse, length of flavour and fragrance on the finish. Quite how it will age, and whether it will absorb its new wood – I’m not sure. Worth giving it time to see, anyway. Drink Dates: 2028 - 2040+. 90
