SF | Attractive nose; graphite, damson and late season apple; a hint of gunpowder even. medium concentration ,but a broad generous mouthfeel, the ripeness of fruit stealing a march over tannic grip, the acidity a little in abeyance. Falls away a little, but one is already sated by the benison of a generous vintage. 89
MS | Nice nose, sweetly ripe, openly fruity, ripe red fruit core, a touch of gravel here; full, fleshy, fresh and finely tannic; sweetly ripe, an attractive core fruit depth, a touch wood dry in tannin, but gently succulent, a good length of flavour, and lightly fragrant to finish. Excellent Lalande. Could drink now, but mellower in a couple years. Drink Dates: 2024 - 2030+. 89
