SF | Deep vermillion, with a nose of plums and bilberry, even a hint of laurel. Attractive, for all that. High toned, with an winning leafy character, a slightly disjointed mid-palate but a generous and long finish, the acidity running down the palate, providing tension and ensuring longevity. A well-made resourceful wine, fine for the medium term, 91
DW | Very beguiling blackberry-juicy nose, this is a very lively and sappy Cab Franc with real clarity of expression and lots of energy and bounce and supple tannins: there's a coolness and drinkability that is compellingly drinkable, but there's a little more to it- a gracefulness perhaps - than simple vin de soif.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2030. 91
AR | Good youthful ruby hue, this shows lovely fresh aromatics and good depth of fruit with a bordelais-style resonance to the fruit buoyed by a lively, energetic acidity that balances the fruit sweetness, added to which a sub-threshhold note of oak binds the elements together in an impressive and accomplished example of the variety, only a slight dryness on the finish detracting from, overall, an impressive performance.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2029. 92
