SF | Modest intensity of colour; quite a fade at the rim. Reticent aromatic, just a little dusty. Once again the palate challenges these early impressions, although its acidity is so intense, and in a cooler vintage to boot, that it leaves little opportunity for regional typicity, in terms of fruit at least, to express itself. A little time in glass, and it opens out nicely. 90
AJ | Dark but translucent garnet; a little paler than its 2021 peers. Primary and a little bit reduced/sweaty thiol in style. Not disfiguring; not sublime either. The fruits are cleanly sweet with a thyme note. LIght and trying to be graceful but there is some unlovely funk in here. Perhaps a naturalista reading but the faint funk dissuades.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2026. 84
RM | Mid-deep in colour, open but simple and slightly casky on the nose; firm, rather leathery fruit, linear tannins and a fresh astringent and rather lean finish.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2027. 79
