BB | Ruby to pink. Refined, complex, steely, iron, red cherries, tobacco leaf. hints of forest floor nose. Rich, lively, touch overripe palate yet complex and defined with black fruits, compact finishDrink Dates: 2025 - 2020. 92
AJ | MId-depth of black-red. A higher-toned aroma than many; lifted redcurrant and pomegranate fruits with warm tar/hot roadstone. Generous, warm, boisterous, with ample drive from those warm fruits; admirable concentration. It is at the ripe end of the spectrum but on the palate there is plentiful backing acidity so no problem of overall balance at all.Drink Dates: 2025 - 2031. 90
MP | Medium garnet colour with a gentle nose encompassing blackberry, hawthorn, liquorice, wild rose and pomegranate. It's discreet and complex with a broad range of textbook Montalcino notes. The palate is similarly layered yet discreet with finely etched tannins and layers or red and black fruit intermingled with floral and spicy notes. Lovely current drinking with finesse rather than power.Drink Dates: 2025 - 2028. 94
