SH | Medium deep garnet more than ruby in colour, the nose is soft and not very incisive like diffused light with notes of warm spice, cream and a touch of ripe black cherry coulis. there is a nice harmony and integration on the palate of some ripe, sweet cherry, robust tannins and lively acidity. Charming and approachable.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2032. 89
AJ | Limpid and translucent garnet red. Let articulate than its other blended peers. Soft sweet fruits, but I'd be hard put to say which fruits. Open, somewhat dilute, but attractive drinking as well-crafted Barolo has to be. This won't ever be anyone's dream Barolo, and the reputation of this name might mean that this wine disappoints a little despite its clean, ready affability.Drink Dates: 2025 - 2030. 85
MP | Simple nose with blackberry, cooked plum, black cherry, cedar, vanilla and coffee. The palate has more weight but this is derived primarily from tannins which are obvious and grippy. The finish looks to cooked black fruit with some dried rose and liquorice. A pleasant wine for early consumption but lacking complexity.Drink Dates: 2026 - 2030. 91
