SF | sweet ripe cherry and cream, oak spice aromas. firm very controlled style but beautifully managed. A TOUCH OF sun dried, raisiny fruit. A little style driven rather than terroir-driven, wine. Charming and accessible but a little bitter on the finish.Drink Dates: 2025 - 2032. 90
AJ | Deep, rich gold for this relatively young wine. Lush and rich, almost caramelised, but with some fresh linden blossom to lift the tone. Forthcoming and attractive.. Mellow, fat, ample tangy sweetness balanced by orchard apple acidity. Lots of caramel, lemon and honey in the aftertaste. Fine flavours, but the wine's softness and openness means that it will be best in the short to medium term; there's not enough focus, tension and gathered force for the long term. Delicious soon, though.Drink Dates: 2926 - 2032.
