AJ | Dark, deep black red, just off opaque at the core Settled and attractive aromas with ample ripeness and some aromatic finesse, too; more complex fruits than most. Perhaps the oak is a lilttle too evident, but this is a qualm. Svelte, soft, sweet-fruited, full, lively and charming: a beautifully handled rendition of this fine plateau vineyard in a difficult year. Dense tannins, despite the lightness and grace of the fruit. Digestible and fresh, and a clear vintage success. Super wine, and we look forward to the `22 from this vineyard. Fresh, aerial, very plateau. Drink Dates: 2027 - 2039. 90
