A gentle and accessible style, not trying too hard and therefore very well placed in this tricky vintage, its clay-limestone base soil rewarding careful winemaking with a pleasing, perfumed example and one which has a lift on the palate, a charm born out of playing to its strenghts and avoiding the pitfalls of trying to gainsay the natural order.
