AJ | Dark, translucent black red. Lots of tea leaf here, but sweet-toned and bright in style. Lively, fruity, crunchy wine but without the volume of 'a decent vintage'. Delicious in the short term, however, while the fruit still has vibrancy and fresh allure. Drink Dates: 2027 - 2030. 85
SF | Glycerol aplenty here and a slightly grainy rim. One of many adventures embarked upon by M Thienpont N. The nose combines mid-season plum and a hint of bay leaf, the latter presumably courtesy Cabernet Franc. Honest and juicy with a diligent coating of moderately chalky tannin, this is a pleasing effort, which wears its reasonably high level of alcohol well. Drink Dates: 2027 - 2030. 88
