Stephen Brook: Lean appley nose, classic. Lean but has good bite; finely tuned, delicate. Not very expressive in terms of its fruit at present, but there is ample acidity and some underlying minerality. Very good length; excellent balance. 18
Margaret Rand: Great nose, mineral with a touch of smoke. At first it doesn’t seem that sweet, but the sweetness and richness build as you taste it. Very smoky and stony; and very long. 16.5
Jancis Robinson: Pale greenish gold. Strong green notes on the nose, almost Sauvignon-like piercing aroma. Fine acidity with considerable ripeness. Almost elderflower cordial flavors, with its combination of aromatic fruit and powerful acidity. A pretty big Mosel Auslese with some grainy texture. Drink 2012–20. 17.5
