Alison Buchanan: Deep prune juice/mahogany in color, this combines innate richness with a slight savory character—appetizing. The palate is gentle, caressing, silken, and supple, coating the palate, but there is a mineral interest, too, and a complementary citrus lift—marmalade notes that just miss refreshing the finish sufficiently. 14.5

Jesús Barquín: Medium to deep chestnut. On the nose, raisins have started to give way to licorice notes, plus a certain Oloroso vinosity. The palate shows finesse, elegant sweetness, and a note of alcohol on the finish. 14

Julian Jeffs: Deep color. Strong varietal nose. Very sweet but shows some complexity. 14.5
