Alison Buchanan: Paler in color, this is immensely youthful, taut and lithe with amazing vitality and control, if not as overt as some. Bright and fresh orchard fruit comes through on the nose and is reflected on the palate Well–balanced and rather attractive. 16

Alex Hunt: Fresh, mineral and herb–scented nose. Inviting. Still quite flinty and primary – certainly seems younger than 2000. Vigorous and chalky, quite concentrated, with a long, even finish. 15

Andrew Jefford: Pale gold. Pure and softly lemony. Teasing appeal. Plunging, intense acidity, though it doesn’t have any sharp edges or lack of ripeness. But if there isn’t a bit more than the acidity, then for me it probably wasn’t worth ageing. I think I would have preferred this with its youthful leafiness. Good wine, nonetheless. 13
