BUY THE WINE

Alison Buchanan: Very attractive light liquid–gold, this is immediately seductive. The palate is opulent and layered with mineral notes, spice and lively acidity – nut sweet. There is also some savory mushroom character to give added complexity – good balance and weight. 14

Alex Hunt: Smoky, oaky nose. Chewy palate texture without much actual flavor. Too neutral. 12

Andrew Jefford: Pale gold. Tiring and catty now. Vivid and well–constructed, this even has some sweetness still clinging to it, but the charm and bloom of youth has gone. 12
