Alison Buchanan: Ripe leesy nose on this simmering gold wine. There is an attractive, slightly truffled, mushroom character adding complexity to the nose, orchard fruit and white pepper. Palate is also slightly peppery, full, rich and ripe and succulent. This is rather delectable, fine–tuned and poised, mineral, controlled and very long. Slight herbaceousness drops score from top end. 16.5

Alex Hunt: May be in an adolescent phase, with soft, developed fruit sitting against firm minerality. On the palate, this is creamy, flabby and too lifeless to be interesting. 12

Andrew Jefford: Full green–gold. Forceful, vivid lime and cream scents. Still a real sense of freshness here…Edgy, vivid and citric on the palate. Lacks ballast and weight, though the intensity is impressive; almost sherbetty finish. 14
