Alison Buchanan: Rather confected, this has a vaguely floral nose with some flint elements. A lovely minerality directs the palate, allied to pure, fresh fruit and an attractive white flower, acacia lift. Very pretty and showing well with enough bite to suggest this will continue to age. 16

Alex Hunt: Closed, with savory, mushroomy aromas. Some structure from oak, and quite firm acidity. Not bad, though not very expressive. 14

Andrew Jefford: Pale gold. Evolving richly: beginning to acquire honeyed notes. All the early vegetal tones have now gone, though a sense of pithy freshness remains. Lively, elegant and fresh, with great balance and poise. Sweet edges to the vivid, dancing fruit: classic thoroughbred. 15
