Alison Buchanan: This has a bizarre, slightly licorice/fennel nose – unanticipated. The palate reflects this aniseed character – very marked. I have no objections to this but would want to know about this character before combining with food. 16

Alex Hunt: Fresh, direct vegetable bouillon aromas, turning to chemical in the glass. The palate is intense and focused, but leans too far towards these vegetable flavors without any fruit sweetness to balance. Presumably this was better in its youth. 11

Andrew Jefford: Pale gold. Strange mélange of oxidized floral notes and coffee. Tangy but rather tired now, and desperately seeking a drinker. 9
