Tim Atkin: Deep color. Smoky, chocolaty, nice spice, very youthful, good balance and oak usage. Still quite young, no rubber, chocolate and spice and texture. Very well made, good length. Brambly, touch of reduction. 16

Gerard Basset: Deep ruby. Fairly open nose. Cassis and cigar box. Powerful structure, ripe tannin, cedar and black fruit, long finish. 17

Anthony Rose: Very good dense color; attractive dark berry fruit aromas, with nicely integrated lightly spicy oak; very good richly concentrated dark red fruits, mulberry and loganberry, juicy supple texture with quite evident vanillin oak, but good fresh succulence of texture, excellent balance, and ripe juicy fruit quality. 18
