BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin: Dense, saturated, super-concentrated. Opaque. Very tannic, super-ripe, fruit-bomb of a wine; concentrated, lots of oak and brambly/cassis/chocolate fruit. A bit over the top, with bags of fruit and concentration, but a little raw on the finish. 15

Gerard Basset: Deep ruby. Fairly pronounced nose. Black fruit, blackberry, sweet spices. Round and velvety, very ripe tannin, long finish. 18

Anthony Rose: Deep dense color; very good blackberry-fruit aromatic quality; dense, concentrated black fruits, a slight feeling of acidification here, quite dense and chewily tannic, powerfully concentrated and powerful in general; very dense, powerful blackberry fruit quality; needs time. 17
