Tim Atkin: Deep color, mature and aging gracefully. Nice, mature Cab-based style, leafy, some mint and chocolate; complex, grainy tannins, nice balance and length and complexity. Maturing nicely and should mature further. South African, but in a good way. Bold, flavorsome, long. 16.5
Gerard Basset: Medium ruby-garnet. Quite pronounced. Young berry with some green pepper. Tight and firm, up-front with red fruit and also some bitter spices; medium-long finish. 15
Anthony Rose: Medium ruby; herbal, light capsicum undertones on the nose; nicely evolved, heavy, capsicum-like Bordeaux style; almost Margaux elegance here; good fruit purity and concentration, with very fresh acidity and tannins just starting to settle into balance; well made, quite stylish in fact. 17
