Tim Atkin: Very deep, super-saturated color. Rich, smoky, slightly soupy, rather clumsy oak handling. Soft tannins, smoky, too much oak, quite dry finish. Bramble and wood smoke. Tannic, quite dry finish, marked by high alcohol. 13
Gerard Basset: Medium-deep red ruby-garnet. Fairly open herbal and red fruit. Lean and tight, cranberry and green pepper, medium-long finish. 15
Anthony Rose: Deep color; initial quite oaky nose, very youthful, spicy, good concentration of youthful fruit; very nice tension here between fruit concentration/richness and tannin and acid structure; very nice richness and spiciness, well made, well-integrated oak; firm, chunky tannins, still very youthful, lovely spiciness and black-fruit flavors; still youthful, needs time. Good intensity and balance. 17.5
