Tim Atkin: Developed, leafy, hard to see how this will develop further. Masses of burned rubber, dried out, prematurely aged. Very green, high alcohol. Tannic, extracted, but totally lacking in fruit. Dried out. 7

Gerard Basset: Medium ruby and garnet. Very pronounced nose; herbal with some young berry. Lean and slightly astringent, a bit leafy; medium-short finish. 12.5

Anthony Rose: Mid-ruby; pungent, herbal, leafy undertones, capsicum and leafy style bordering on the weedy; some blackcurrant fruit here, even a touch of sweetness, rather lean and herbal; on the mid-palate, quite juicy supple tannins and fresh acidity. Overall impression of greenness. 14
