Bruno Besa: Garnet to tawny. Open, mature, spicy, prune and red-plum nose, with lively, citrus, earthy undertones. Medium to full body, firm tannic grip, and a long and weightless finish. Maybe a touch overripe but still elegant and well-defined. 93
Andrew Jefford: Bright translucent garnet-red. Curranty, warm, lifted, and softly tarry. Attractive, relatively soft-focus aromas. Almost some raisins. Ample structure and intensity here; concentrated acids. Bracing, almost stern wine, but you sit up and pay attention. Serious stuff that needs to wait a while. 88
Michael Palij: Pale ruby. Tinned strawberries, red cherry, red currant, and raspberry on the nose, then pretty on the palate, with relatively soft tannins, a fine streak of acidity, and surprisingly fresh fruit. The finish is balanced and driven by crunchy red fruit. 92
