Bruno Besa: Garnet to tawny. Open, ripe nose, with road tar, petrol, tobacco, prunes, and plums. A rather decadent, overripe palate, with a vegetal finish. 85

Andrew Jefford: Deep, clear, glowing garnet red. Lots of earth and tar here; freshly treated fence posts on a warm summer day (almost). Some ripe, sleeping fruits; rosehips. Magnificent aromatic complexity here. Fresh, bright, elegant—and on the palate you find the same combination of ample ripeness and autumnal generosity in a graceful frame. This would drink very well; the acidity is much less brutal here than for some of its peers. Gorgeous tannins and ample finishing complexities; even a little glycerol on the tongue. A super wine, and I appreciate the sense of natural articulation. 92

Michael Palij: Reduced, with notes of egg and SO2. Short, simple, charmless. 78
