Bruno Besa: Garnet to tawny. Intense small red fruits, mint, rosewater, and violets on the nose, with some musty undertones. A greenish palate, but with some length, and a lively, small-red-fruit character.82
Andrew Jefford: Darkly translucent. There is TCA here for me (5%), but there is no second bottle. A rather uneventful wine on the palate. In fact, I don’t see the TCA note here to the same extent, but it is not in any way an exciting mouthful, alas. 79
Michael Palij: Surprisingly delicate, simple aromas of menthol, red cherry, and cedar. Dusty tannins on the palate, the fruit is unpleasantly herbaceous, and the finish is short and simple. 84
