Essi Avellan: Pale color. Attractive, softly toasty nose, with pure, ripe fruitiness. Golden delicious apple, peach candy and pencil shavings. Rather simple but pleasant. Round succulent palate with soft mousse and pleasant aftertaste. 89

Simon Field: Straw color, pale from the mid-summer heat; reduction on the nose; dried fruit, gunpowder, and tobacco. The palate has length and balanced acidity on its side; the fruit seems quite young however, a little coarse and simple; the finish is a little abrupt, too. 88

Anthony Rose: Mid-gold in color, this is a tad shy in aroma, if fresh and bright, just a hint of apple and licorice spice there; but it’s more expressive when you taste, an appealing bright mousse of flavorsome bubbles, nicely balanced, a zesty and phenolic touch toward the finish bringing balancing freshness, and while the wine is not especially expressive, it’s readily accessible. 89
