Warmly inviting nose of salted caramel and fennel. Ripe but savory palate, which is just lightly rounded and swathed in spicy aromatics of caraway and fennel seed. A lively, fresh, and savory touch. It finishes appetizingly bitter and pithy. I prefer it to the Clos du Roy above. 2021–25. | 88–89
