Andrew Jefford | Dark black-red in appearance, not quite opaque. Some mixed ripeness, here: warm, tarry fruits but a hint of sea wrack and hedgerow, too. Tar and weed grow in the glass. Smooth and attractive, finally with sweet-edged fruits here though the same mixed ripeness is apparent as on the nose in the mid-palate. Less concentrated than the best of its peers, too. An enjoyable, easy-going wine for the mid-term. | 86
