BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: Taut, lemony nose; nicely balanced premier cru with a notably lively acidity; minerally behind the ripe fruit, but not the race and class of a top premier cru; atypically keen acidity for the vintage (some added acid?), which pinches the wine a little and also gives it a bit of astringency and coarseness. Solid, rather than classy. Its backbone will keep it, but will it ever be harmonious? 2012_20 .
