BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | As vintages go by, Stephen Carrier brings Fieuzal back to its former glory, and the wine is once again worthy of its rank. Oak on the nose, a dense and intense body for the vintage, beautiful viscosity. | 16.5

Michael Schuster | Very ripe fruit to smell; ripe-fruited mid-weight, with a fresh, not-too-marked acidity and a discreet tannin of a fine texture; refined in flavor, delicately mineral, ripe and long and particularly harmonious; less structured than many Pessac-Léognans this year and very nice indeed. 2018–28. | 16.5
