Michel Bettane: Very oaky, nice body, serious wine, good length, but too much helped by the barrels, very Right Bank in style. 16

Thierry Desseauve: Mellow and soft body, elegant tannins, rich fruit, generous personality. 17

Michael Schuster: Lovely, sweetly ripe fruit to smell; very elegantly balanced, a nice concentration of fruit within a very fine-textured tannin; sweet, fresh, refined, gently minerally flavor, at the moment a little dominated by its dry oak-tannin, but with drive, class, length of flavor, and lovely persistence of aftertaste. Let’s hope it absorbs the new wood. An excellent Fieuzal red. 2022–35+. 17
