Neil Beckett: From the black earth comes white gold, glimmering with the promise of richness within. Medium body, compact, dense, and focused, refined and silky smooth but still sufficiently tense, with a crisp, almost crunchy stone fruit and exciting mineral charge. Gentler than the excellent 2002, but with flashes of the same on the long, lingering finish. Elegant, exquisitely poised, highly polished gem (only 320 cases) and terrific value
